The key to these great tasting soft chocolate chip cookies is the vanilla pudding.
One of the great things about these cookies is that you can reheat them in the microwave for a few seconds and they'll taste just like when they came out of the oven!
Here's what you'll need:
2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 package(12 ounces) semisweet (or dark chocolate) chocolate chips
Here's what you'll need to do:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, sugar, brown sugar, pudding mix and vanilla extract.
Mix well.
Add eggs, one at at a time, mixing well after each egg.
Gradually add the flour. Mix well.
Add the chocolate chips.
Stir with a rubber spatula until well mixed.
Drop by rounded spoonful onto baking sheet making sure that each cookie is about the same size.
Bake at 375 degrees F. for 8 to 10 minutes.
Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 3 dozen nice size cookies.
Pour a big glass of ice cold milk and enjoy these wonderfully chewy and soft chocolate chip cookies!
