If you're wondering how to make salmon, wonder no more. All it took for me was one bite of this salmon and it quickly became one of my all time favorites!
Here's what you are going to need:
4 - 6 oz. filets, skin removed
1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
For the Rub:
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. kosher salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon cumin
1/4 teaspoon ground mustard
1/8 teaspoon of cinnamon
Here's what you need to do:
Preheat oven to 350° F.
Place all of the rub ingredients in a small bowl and mix well.
Sprinkle the rub on the meat side of the salmon. Press it into the fillets.
Heat an oven proof skillet over medium heat. Pour in the Olive Oil.
Place the filets in the skillet, rub side down and sear it for about 2 minutes.
Flip, remove from heat and place the skillet in the preheated oven until the salmon is flaky, about 5 minutes.
I hope that you enjoy this easy pan roasted salmon as much as me and my family do!
