I'm sure you'll enjoy this oven fried chicken recipe if you are looking for something with lots of flavor!
I took a classic ranch chicken recipe and added a little more flavor to it and came up with what I'm sure you'll agree is a real winner!
Here's what you are going to need:
1 whole chicken, cut up (or any combination of your favorite parts)
1 package Hidden Valley Ranch dressing Mix
1 teaspoon of Paprika
1 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
1/2 cup of dry unseasoned bread crumbs
1/2 teaspoon of seasoning salt
Butter
Non-stick cooking spray
Here's what you need to do:
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Shake up the baggie and press the coating onto the chicken through the bag.
Place chicken onto the prepared baking sheet, breasts should be bone side down.
For each piece of chicken, break about 1 teaspoon (we're not talking about a tablespoon here, just a teaspoon) of cold butter into 3 pieces and place it on top of the chicken.
Bake in a preheated oven for about 45 to 50 minutes until the juices run clear and the the internal temperature of the breasts reach 170 degrees F and the thigh reaches 180 degrees F.
I'm sure your gonna love this recipe for oven fried chicken!
