You can have dinner on the table in about 30 minutes and enjoy the rest of your evening while you listen to your family rave about what a great dinner you made!
Here's what you are going to need:
1 (16 ounce) package egg noodles
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 pound lean ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
1 (6 ounce) can chopped mushrooms
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 packet dry brown gravy mix (I used McCormick)
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, cut into 8 pieces.
1/2 cup milk
Here's what you need to do:
Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package directions. Drain. Put the noodles back into the empty pot and add the sour cream. Set aside.
In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onions and mushrooms until the beef has browned and the onions are clear.
Add the gravy mix, 2 cans of soup, cream cheese and milk. Mix well. Cook stirring constantly until the cream cheese has melted.
Pour the stroganoff into the pot with the noodles and mix well. Enjoy this quick and easy beef stroganoff recipe!
